The Way to Heaven at Austin Film Festival

This week Jieli Digital Animation and Red Giant Studios had it's world premier screening at the 16th annual Austin Film Festival of The Way to Heaven. The film screened with a collection of other animated shorts in the Shorts 10 category and had a great turn out with a packed house at The Hideout Theater. The film will be screening again at the Austin Film Festival on Wednesday, October 28 at 10pm @ The Independent at 501. The Way to Heaven, based on the Chinese myth of Elephant-Trunk Hill in Guilin, China was nominated for best animated short film at this years Awards Luncheon. Dalton Grant, Mier Tang and Cindy Rangel (myself) were in attendance. We all look forward to the next festival and will making more announcements of festivals to come. Red Giant Studios Wrap Party

Last night we had a private wrap party for The Way to Heaven where we honored all the artists and people who worked on the film with a room full of close friends and business associates. Huge thanks to The Cellar of San Francisco for hosting the party and giving everyone a night to remember!
